The Business Power of AI — an in-house Academy for boards and executive teams
The AIVaaS Academy is delivered in-house: inside one organisation, for its own leadership team, working on that organisation's own business cases. It builds a shared leadership view of the strategic and business significance of AI. It is not an open course for individuals.
Who it is for
Boards, supervisory boards and the C-suite (CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, CHRO, CMO) of mid-sized and large organisations that have moved past AI experimentation and need one shared strategic view of AI.
The three in-house programmes
- Executive AI briefing — a board-level overview of the strategic risks and opportunities of AI for senior leadership.
- Executive AI alignment session — cross-functional leadership alignment on AI and shared investment priorities, breaking silos in enterprise AI adoption.
- Strategic impact and business value of AI — advancing to AI-driven business models (L3/L4) through business-first AI transformation.

Frequently asked questions
Is the AIVaaS Academy an open programme for individuals?
No. The Academy is delivered in-house within a single organisation, for its own leadership team and using the organisation's own business cases.
How can an executive committee build a shared strategic view on AI?
Through an in-house executive AI alignment session in which the leadership team surfaces the gaps between functions and agrees one shared AI ambition and one order of investment priorities.
Why do C-suite AI initiatives fail to deliver ROI?
Because they start from technology rather than from the business constraint to be removed. The Academy reverses the sequence into strategy, then people, then technology.
How do we move beyond AI pilots (L1-L2) to strategic use of AI (L3-L4)?
Through the programme Strategic impact and business value of AI, which addresses the critical leap from L2 to L3 and the redesign of business models with AI.
Who delivers the Academy?

What is the AIVaaS Academy and who is it for?
The AIVaaS Academy: The Business Power of AI is a programme for leadership teams that want to treat AI as a business and leadership question, not merely as a technology. It is intended for organisations that want to better understand the impact of AI on their business, improve the quality of leadership decisions and develop the capability to create business value with AI.
What does a leadership team gain from the AIVaaS Academy?
The leadership team gains a shared business understanding of AI, better judgement of opportunities and risks, and a clearer picture of accountability, priorities and the changes required. The Academy helps connect AI questions with strategy, operations, people and value creation, and builds a shared foundation for the leadership decisions that follow.
How does the AIVaaS Academy differ from a course on using AI tools?
The AIVaaS Academy is not a course on using ChatGPT, Copilot or other tools, and it is not technical training in programming or building AI solutions. It focuses on the business role of AI: what it means for strategy, business models, customers, employees, leadership accountability, value creation and organisational capability. A further differentiator is that the experts involved in the Academy bring extensive day-to-day business experience (a team that has worked together for more than 15 years).
Is the Academy also suitable for an organisation that already uses AI?
Yes. The suitability of the Academy does not depend on how many AI tools an organisation already uses. Organisations with more experience can use the Academy to deepen the link between AI use and business strategy, improve leadership judgement, and identify the gaps between ambition, readiness, governance and the capabilities needed for further development.
Which topics of business AI use does the Academy cover?
The Academy covers the strategic significance of AI, business value, leadership accountability, the role of employees, business opportunities and risks, value creation for customers and the organisation, the capabilities required, and AI governance. The individual topics form a leadership path from understanding changes in the business environment to the organisation's next decisions.
Why is the Academy intended for the leadership team of a single organisation?
Because significant AI decisions usually reach beyond one function or one department. Working together allows leaders to connect different perspectives on strategy, customers, processes, technology, people and finance, and to form a shared business language. The Academy is therefore designed primarily as a programme for the leaders of one organisation, not as conventional open training for individuals.
How does the AIVaaS Academy adapt to our organisation and business challenges?
The content framework of the Academy is defined, while the emphasis and depth of treatment are adapted to the position, needs and goals of the organisation. During the work, topics are connected to your business context, and more demanding deliveries can also include in-depth work on selected business questions and the organisation's own material.
Who delivers the Academy and what is the expertise of the facilitators based on?
The Academy is delivered by an experienced team of experts with knowledge and practical experience in business analysis, strategy, processes, data, artificial intelligence, organisational change and business transformation. In selecting facilitators, the decisive factor is the ability to connect business and technology questions and to work with leadership teams.
Which delivery formats of the AIVaaS Academy are available?
The Academy allows for different depths and scopes of delivery. An organisation can choose a shorter format for the board or another leadership group, or a more extensive programme that allows in-depth treatment of the business context and the organisation's capabilities. The most suitable format is determined by the purpose, the participants and the expected depth of work.
How long does the AIVaaS Academy last and how much time does it require from participants?
The time commitment depends on the chosen delivery format. Shorter formats are intended for focused treatment of selected leadership questions, while a more extensive delivery runs across several sessions and allows deeper work. Before the start, the scope, the expected time from participants, the way of working and any preparation between sessions are clearly agreed.
What does our organisation need to prepare for the Academy?
The most important elements are a clear interest from leadership, a suitable group of participants, and a willingness to address business questions related to AI openly. The scope of additional preparation depends on the chosen delivery. In an in-depth programme the work may also involve selected business material and information from the organisation, but the same level of preparation is not required for every format.
Does the AIVaaS Academy also include the implementation of AI solutions?
No. The core purpose of the Academy is not the technical implementation of AI solutions. The Academy helps leadership develop understanding, judgement, accountability and the foundations for decisions, and to define the next steps required more clearly. The organisation then leads the execution of specific initiatives and changes. If additional support is needed, mentoring, coaching or consulting can be arranged separately with the experts who deliver the Academy.
How much does the AIVaaS Academy cost and how is the price determined?
The price of the AIVaaS Academy is determined individually according to the agreed delivery. Before preparing an offer, we clarify the purpose of the programme, the group of participants, the scope and depth of the work, the way it is delivered and the preparation required. The price therefore relates to the specific form of the Academy that matches the needs of your organisation.
What concrete results can we expect after the Academy?
The result of the Academy is above all a leadership team better prepared to make decisions about AI. The organisation can expect a clearer shared understanding of the business role of AI, better judgement of opportunities and risks, clarified accountability, and a clearer picture of priorities, the capabilities required and the next steps. The actual business effects then arise through the organisation's further decisions and execution.
How do we determine which delivery of the AIVaaS Academy is suitable for our organisation?
You can start by reviewing the delivery options, describing your situation in the "My situation" configurator, or speaking with us directly. Based on your needs, the composition of your leadership team, your current position and the expected depth of work, we assess together which form of the Academy makes the most sense. Using the configurator is not a prerequisite for a conversation with us.
